I just saw where liberal is posting for a new traveler, just wanted to make you aware of some of the issues. 1 The only AirB&B was a roach motel which they wanted 2,000 a month ( we bought a RV) 2. Call is with a tech not another nurse, which I was assured were qualified techs. My first night on call the tech was in CS doing instruments not patient care had been certified as a tech but only took enough call to keep her certification current. I was told several travelers had walked out because this. 3. With close to 70% of the population being Hispanic many non English speaking they should be bilingual. 4. In all standard of care there is to be 2 nurses in PACU not in Liberal, most days there are only 4 nurses for the entire department which covers Preop, PACU & postoperative and that’s taking care of up to 22 patients. One day I was in the Isolation room with a PACU patient (by the way there is not even a phone in that room) the other nurse was in the main PACU room with 2 patients (we were the only 2 nurses) the patient in post op was on there own no nurse for them and neither one of us could leave our patient thank God they didn’t need anything

I had the opportunity to work with an awesome team for over 1 year. My recruiter Andre and the other staff always addressed any question or concern . I decided to seek a full time position. However , if I return to traveling I pray they keep my resume on file . I would highly recommend this staffing agency .
