The Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) is an agreement that allows registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical/vocational nurses (LPNs/VNs) to have one multistate license, enabling them to practice in their home state and other compact states without needing additional licenses. This initiative, administered by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN), was developed to improve access to care, streamline licensing processes, and enhance public protection.
Go Healthcare Staffing is a Joint Commission Certified Travel Nurse Staffing firm. As such, we adhere to the Joint Commission’s credentialing requirements for each travel nurse that works with us on our assignments. Our Travel Nurses must provide:
Copy of RN’s Driver’s License
Copy of RN licensure (unless it’s a paperless state)
Physical within the past 365 days
Hep B Immunization or Declination Form
Front & Back of all RN certifications
Mumps, Rubella, Rubeola, Varicella- Immunizations or titers
PPD completed within past 365 days
